"Bad habits are like a comfortable bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out"
I do believe that everyone have their own weaknesses as well as their own strengths. Most of the times, people tends to look at others weaknesses and forget about their own. However, there are some people who knows about their weaknesses and try very hard to improve it. They always do self-introspection in order to improve themselves, seek advice from others and read lots of motivational as well as religious books in order to know the best way on how to make themselves better as time goes by.
It seems to be hard for most of us to change the things that have become our daily routine immediately. To make even a little change sometimes need us to have very strong passion and put as much efforts as we can. That is why, bad habits are equivalent to a comfortable bed, where most people are quite hard to wake up from their sleep.
And as a Muslim, we have to wake up. Wake up from our comfortable bed. Get out from our comfort zone. As long as we still alive, we need to improve ourselves from time to time. Always try to achieve perfection in everything we do, as it is part of worshipping Allah according to Yusuf Al-Qaradawi in his book, Islam: An Introduction. And of course, we have to make sure it is good things to do, not the bad one. =)
